Chronicle Live: Newcastle United centre back Mike Williamson has expressed his desire to stay at the club. The defender currently has three years left to run on his contract.
Williamson said, “I want to work hard in the summer and come back as fit as possible and fight for my place. It is a funny old game, you ever know what is around the corner, but hopefully we can win three points on Sunday and then enjoy our summer.”

The Journal - After securing Newcastle United's place in next season's Premier League with a win at QPR, manager Alan Pardew has pledged to use the tough 2012-2013 campaign to improve in the future.
With his first European campaign, injuries aplenty, and youngsters thrown in the deep end, the club endured a tough season, but Pardew said, “I will look at myself, look at my staff and make sure we’re better prepared for what is ahead."

Chronicle Live: Newcastle United Women's Football Club right-back Stephanie Loraine is looking to be crowned Miss England 2013.
Competing against Papiss Cissé's girlfriend and Miss Newcastle Rachelle Graham, Stephanie Loraine entered the competition to grow the image of NUWFC and women's sports in general.
